Natures Playmate is the physical iteration of everything I know and everything I dare to dream born into many forms. The common thread among the potions, oils, jewelry, textile art, clothes, and whatever else births itself is a direct link to source, a nod to radical self expression, and a drive for sustainability. I use repurposed and found materials as much as possible in my work and source almost everything locally, organic, and from other small makers. Everything is one of one or small batch and is heavily influenced by current astrology, the world's political landscape, our collective needs, my ancestral healing practices, and my own emotional states. Natures Playmate is a vision that is not singular nor contained. It is multifaceted magick and medicine for the people. It is slow process and intention in every step. It is an invitation to stop and think. It is for you by "me"

Meet the Maker

Hi my name is Farrah! I am an Aquarius sun, Cancer moon & rising. I currently reside in Detroit, MI, I am a generational astrologer and healer on both sides of my lineage. Being a full time witch in this day and age is an honor and a privilege, not my destiny so much as simply my reality, created every day. My beliefs lie strongly in individual sovereignty and collective healing. I believe in the power of plants as an ally on the path towards transformation and self discovery. And that healing and re-learning how to be in sync with nature is some of the most important work of our time.

  • What does it mean to source ethically?

    "Ethically sourced" can be an ambiguous term. For us, it means sourcing organic, local, and with regenrative and found or recycled materials as much as possible. (nearly 90% of the time!) Ethical sourcing means respect for nature, all bones and shells used in our jewlery were found and thouroughly sanitized in house. Almost everything you recieve from us, down to the packaging, can be reused. Collect your bottles and experiment with making your own backyard medicine! 

  • Tinctures VS Oxymels

    Traditionally you will find a lot of herbal medicine is made with alochol, typically NGS- or high proof neutral grain spirits. Tinctures offer a clean taste and long shelf life. Oxymels are a tasty alternative for those looking to obstain from alcohol or just try something new.  Made with organic raw apple cider vinegar and raw Michigan honey, oxymels are a delicious and fun way to enjoy your daily dose of herbs.

  • What is energetic medicine?

    Energetic medicine is medicine that goes beyond Western science. Our blends utilize medicial astrology and traditional magickal correspondances as well as traditional western herbalism. We work closely with the moon and products are composed in correspondance with the celestial energy we want to capture.
